Culture Exchange in Action!
Former Volunteer Tyler St. Clair brought eleven of his current students from Ross Middle School in New York to meet students at Changsha Number One Middle School. The American visitors sat in on an English class, met Chinese students in the English Corner, and had the opportunity to discuss differences between American and Chinese school life.

Reflections on a Year of Service
We want to share with you some reflections on a year of teaching by Jon, a 2009-2010 volunteer. He offers some interesting insight into how volunteering feels and what it is about. It is well worth your time as you consider volunteering in China. What Jon offers is not so much a look into his daily life. Instead, he focuses on the bigger reality of his service.
