Welcome to Chile!
 
For volunteers interested in committing five months to teaching abroad, WorldTeach offers a semester program to Chile through the Ministry of Education. This program departs in mid July and finishes by early December.Teaching and site placements for the Chile Ministry Semester program in 2010 are located in Chile's Central Region.
 
Volunteers must be native English speakers, have a bachelor's degree and be between the ages of 18 and 74 by the date of departure. Successful volunteers will be flexible, mature, and have a genuine interest in both teaching and cross-cultural experiences. Teaching qualifications are not required, although prior experience will greatly strengthen your application to this competitive program.
