Bachelor's degree required
Teach English to students in primary or secondary public and semi-public schools in small- to medium-sized towns and possibly more rural settings in Central/South-Central Chile. Live with a host family. Basic Spanish required (or completion of online Spanish course provided by Ministry of Education prior to departure), developing country experience preferred. Ministry provides in-country training and placement and host family support. WorldTeach provides pre-departure and supplemental in-country training and support. Departure in mid July. Volunteer Commitment: US$3,990.
Namibia
Teach English/math/science/computers and HIV/AIDS education in primary/secondary schools or adult education centers. Mostly in rural communities, a few in urban areas. Housing provided by school/ mission or host family. Departure in early June. Volunteer Commitment: US$4,990.
Note: All long-term programs provide a monthly living allowance, while summer programs do not.
