WorldTeach may host regional alumni get-togethers throughout the year. If you or your group is interested in hosting a gathering, please let us know and we’ll assist you with planning the event, just email [email protected]. We would love to attend or help with other attending! Below are some pictures from our event in August 2015.
WorldTeach Boston Alumni Event August 2015
On August 27th, 2015 some friends, alumni, guests and staff had a little get together at the PARK Restaurant and Bar near Harvard Square. A special thanks to Amy Walsh (China ’12), Chris Mirasola (China ’12), Cece Yuan (Ecuador ’16) and Kathryn Swiderski (Chile ’07) for taking time out of their schedules to join us. It was a fun night with stories and experiences shared.
Become Part of the WorldTeach Team
Do you find yourself talking about your WorldTeach experience with anyone who is interested? Would you recommend WorldTeach to just about anyone? If you have recently returned from serving as a WorldTeach volunteer (within the past year) you may enjoy joining the Admissions team as a volunteer Country Expert for the program that you served in. Country Experts speak with applicants via email once they have advanced along in the application process. Your purpose would be to answer questions about country program and share about your overall WorldTeach experience. Email [email protected] to sign up or get more information.
Serve as a panelist for a WorldTeach webinar to share about your experiences with potential volunteers. Webinars occur monthly. Email [email protected] if you’d like to be a panelist for one of our country webinars.
